How do you program your MCH or MCH Duty?
Our Dual Fuel MCH lights are 5-mode programmable via the push button tailcap. Please see our detailed video instructions.
What programming modes are available?
Mode 1: High-only (100%)
Mode 2: Low (10%), High (100%)
Mode 3: High (100%), Low (10%)
Mode 4: Very Low (5%), Medium (30%), High (100%)
Mode 5: High (100%), Medium (30%), Very Low (5%)
What batteries work best for my MCH?
All current MCH "Dual Fuel" handhelds are compatible with both 18650/18350 rechargeable batteries or CR123As (See list below). The MCH supports most button-top, Unprotected cells. However, the MCH has minimal compatibility with Protected cells; therefore, compatibility with such cells should not be presumed. We strongly recommend utilizing Unprotected cells for their significant performance enhancements.
MCH: Single 18650 rechargeable battery or two CR123A batteries.
MCH Duty: Single 18650 rechargeable battery or two CR123A batteries.
MCH Micro: Single 18350 rechargeable battery or single CR123A battery
Note:The older Single Mode or Dual Mode (High/Low) MCH handhelds are compatible with 18650/18350 rechargeable batteries only.
Is the MCH compatible with the Thyrm Switchback?
Absolutely! The MCH, MCH Micro and MCH Duty are designed to fit the Thrym Switchback Large 2.0 ring. View our installation instructions in the video below.
